Time Management
Target Group:
Managers and employees who need to organize priorities to produce outstanding business results. For those who must accomplish important projects with limited manpower and resources. Additionally, this workshop is an ideal follow-up course for those who have taken part in previous management communication skills workshops.
Seminar Target:
Participants in this seminar will improve their ability to:- Form habits and behaviors that promote effective time management
- Commit to long-range goals in writing that are measurable
- Use a time log to identify personal time wasters
- Organize daily priorities according to true importance
- Take charge of time to accomplish important projects under deadline
- Reduce stress and needless worry through a new more productive time management policy
Content:
- Learning expert time-management techniques to produce superior results
- Identifying your # 1 priority and getting it done first
- Assessing your progress towards the most important goals
- Changing your approach when you are not getting the desired results
- Handling interruptions without getting side-tracked
- Managing your appointment calendar
- Saying "NO" tactfully to unwanted phone calls and visitors
Methods:
Trainer input, case studies, role plays, simulations, video and computer-based
training.
Participant input will be video taped for feedback and analysis.
Comments:
Participants should be prepared to speak English throughout the seminar.
The seminar will continue in the evening with group activities and discussions.
The evening activities are designed to further improve and reinforce language skills.
Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in these events.
Pre-requisites:
All participants must fulfill the requirements for an English language professional skills seminar at an intermediate level: The "Pre-Course Questionnaire" returned to Personnel.
