Communication Skills Workshop for Real Estate Finance
Target Group:
Managers and employees who are actively engaged in Real Estate Finance
(both front and back office tasks) and would like to improve their communications
skills using language specific to this field. In addition, this workshop
is for those who would like to share their experiences with other property-finance specialists.
The focus will be on using appropriate terminology associated with financing in a property-finance context.
Seminar Target:
Participants in this seminar will improve their ability to:- Establish good relationships with international partners
- Determine client needs through effective question techniques
- Discuss the company's financial statements with confidence
- Avoid misunderstandings regarding collateral and other matters
- Justify the interest rates and margin you intend to charge
Content:
- Asking appropriate questions to determine creditworthiness
- Talking about the company's past performance and future projections
- Presenting tailor-made financing options
- Recommending approval/denial of credit applications
- Negotiating favorable conditions for the bank
Methods:
Trainer input to provide framework, role plays, simulations.
Participant output will be videotaped for analysis and feedback.
Comments:
Participants should be prepared to speak English throughout the seminar.
The seminar will continue in the evening with group activities and discussions.
The evening activities are designed to further improve and reinforce language skills.
Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in these events.
Pre-requisites:
All participants must fulfill the requirements for an English language professional skills seminar at an intermediate level: The "Pre-Course Questionnaire" returned to Personnel.
