International Funding and Capital Markets Activities
Target Group:
Managers and employees from front and back office departments who are actively engaged in the Funding and Capital Markets activities or directly related business areas. (including Treasury, Operations, Investor Relations, Capital Markets, etc.)
Seminar Target:
Participants in this seminar will improve their ability to:- Discuss capital markets activities with confidence
- State the benefits of an investment to potential investors
- Explain the quality and rating of an investment
- Attract potential investors to take part in a new issue
- Outline the risk / reward potential of an investment
Content:
- Explaining the issue of new debt to a potential client
- Talking about your bank's rating, track record and reputation
- Explaining investment diversification and asset allocation
- Recommending a structure which corresponds to an investor's risk profile
- Handling complaints when an investment does not perform as expected
Methods:
Trainer input to provide framework, role plays, simulations.
Participant output will be videotaped for analysis and feedback.
Comments:
Participants should be prepared to speak English throughout the seminar.
The seminar will continue in the evening with group activities and discussions.
The evening activities are designed to further improve and reinforce language skills.
Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in these events.
Pre-requisites:
All participants must fulfill the requirements for an English language professional skills seminar at an intermediate level: The "Pre-Course Questionnaire" returned to Personnel.
