Conflict Management
Target Group:
Managers and staff who need to handle conflict effectively. Avoiding lost productivity and increasing performance through professional conflict management techniques. For those who would like to participate in a highly interactive seminar. Additionally, this workshop is an ideal follow-up course for those who have taken part in previous management communications workshops.
Seminar Target:

- Take responsibility for managing conflict effectively
- Learn to listen without arguing or judging
- Ask questions, offer feedback and get to the real problem
- Intervene successfully in conflicts between employees
- Set fair ground rules to achieve "win-win" outcomes
Content:
- Turning conflict's tension into positive action
- Recognizing the 3 kinds of conflict and how to deal with them
- Practicing the "your turn, my turn" conflict resolution method
- Channeling energy towards common goals
- Breaking through deadlocks and shutdown communications
- Developing a long-term conflict management strategy
Methods:
Trainer input to provide framework, role plays, simulations.
Participant output will be videotaped for analysis and feedback.
Comments:
Participants should be prepared to speak English throughout the seminar.
The seminar will continue in the evening with group activities and discussions.
The evening activities are designed to further improve and reinforce language skills.
Participants are strongly encouraged to take part in these events.
Pre-requisites:
All participants must fulfill the requirements for an English language professional skills seminar at an intermediate level: The "Pre-Course Questionnaire" returned to Personnel.
